Liverpool Biennial – iPod Guide

A company called Apposing are designing an application for iPod to guide people around the Biennial this year.

Don’t have many details yet but do know that the Apple store are planning to hire iPods to people who are visiting the Biennial. Sounds like a really smart way to guide people, a bit more techy than a paper map.

The app will be free to download for iPod and iPod Touch users.

Will try to get more information as the launch date approaches.

This would be a great idea for art generally in Liverpool and Merseyside. London, Tokyo and New York already have an art app.

Combining this with a commentary, street art and buildings, travel information, maps, guide to restaurants and theatre would be a really useful tourist tool.

I intend to pursue this. Watch this space!!!!
