Beatles Day 10th July

It’s that time of year again!!!

Lots of stuff happening all over Liverpool City Centre as a tribute to the Fab Four. Kicks of in Zelig’s in Liverpool 1 at 11-00am, family fun day (free !!!!) in Williamson Square in the afternoon and a Beatles tribute concert in the Echo Arena in the evening.

Look out for the Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra busking in Williamson Square at 12-30pm!

Yours truly on soprano uke!

Quite poignant this year as it would have been John’s 70th birthday.

Really enjoyed your performance , the ukulele band sounded great and had a large audience . They sang along and applauded , its a real feel good sound and every one knows the words to the Beatle’s songs . Lots of visitors in the city today from all over the world. Met two excited young ladies in 08 Place they had won a trip to Liverpool in a competition and were thrilled to be in The Hard Days Night Hotel and had visited the Cavern and were off to the Beatles Story after picking their city map up and being pointed in the direction of the Albert Dock.
