HERITAGE DAY, ST. GEORGES HALL.

St George’s Hall is one of the finest Neo-Classical buildings in the country. I think it’s one of the most magnificent buildings I have ever been in.  Having visited many times  it never fails to amaze me, the sheer size of the Great Hall , the sumptuous Concert Room, contrast with the courts and the cells. Today I visited with my sister and a cousin  and they were totally bowled over by their visit and loved every minute of the tour which was conducted with great expertise by our guide Jean Carter. Thank you for an interesting visit Jean you certainly know your facts and figures about the Hall also lots of interesting facts about Liverpool , its people  and as you so rightly pointed out all three are intertwined to make a great history. For more info on booking between now and the 19th Sept.  0151 225 6909 is the number to contact.  Guided tours each day at 2 pm.  Well worth a visit!   NOW , what’s next ?  I fancy the Williamson Tunnels.
