Winter Arts Market, St Georges Hall.

Really enjoyed this event today. It was very busy and a great festive atmosphere, even if it was so busy I couldn’t find a seat to have a coffee and some of that gorgeous cake. We were promised something special and it was delivered . I loved the Hand painted Art on silk  such fantastic colours. Keith F Smith had some Liverpool Landscapes which I would like for a Christmas prezzie (please David ) and I think Sophie Green, Artist and Illustrator has real imagination and flair.  I chatted to Stephanie Holmes , ‘Eskimostephie’  Interesting concept there! Creative Communities. St Marys Complex, Waverley St. Bootle L20 4AP  .  Sixteen different talents together under one roof (including SINGING OUR SOCKS OFF)  Personal Wellbeing thru’ Creative Participation . I think a visit is in order next week. One of my favourite Liverpool artists Freida Mckitrick had her pictures and cards to sell ,if you missed her today 08 Tourist Information Office  Whitechapel , sells her Liverpool Waterfront Cards. Pride in Liverpool had a stall ,Val Price and Friends were working hard to raise funds to continue their good work in the community ( See Val on Face Book )  Big Event , Glorious setting, and later at the other end of the scale I went to my local ‘Thirteen Events’, Vintage and Craft Fair, for charity and met Steve Radford and a small band of volunteers raising money for local charities . I finally got my cake and coffee . Delicious ! thanks folk!  And yes Paul ,Lets have more of these Winter Arts Markets  But the next Antique Fair at St Georges Hall is on 11th December 9.30-4pm.
