Matthew St Festival-I didn’t bother in the end.

Not really-popped into the Bluecoat and met up with some mates. We sat in the garden and watched an old man play harp-lovely stuff. The following day I was going to go back but town was so full of drunks that it wasn’t worth it. Shame really!

I knew there was a reason that I don’t normally bother with it!

How did you know that town was full of drunks if you didn’t go ?!

Went to Mathew St Festival and saw a great performance from Supercharge – apparently Richard Bransons favourite band.

Really friendly atmosphere as usual. Sorry you didn’t go but most (if not all) festivals serve drink!

Paul, I went in and was scared off by all the drunks, just to clarify. Glad you enjoyed it but its not the first year I’ve been unimpressed. Sorry I don’t Love everything that Liverpool ever does, ha ha!

Didn’t see the drunks you did. Maybe we see the world through different eyes. Supercharge were great though! One of the best groups of the last 30 years.

The old man was Stan Ambrose by the way – he presents a folk programme on BBC Radio Merseyside, and he is a lovely bloke :-)
