Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Farmaggedon!

To take the family here would class me as an irresponsible parent, but to take your mates, that’s a different story.

There are three houses to choose…. Terror on The Farm, Insanity and the mind twisting Psychosis…..you enter one…..so let’s take Hitchcocks “Psycho” shower scene…. with you walking in a tunnel, dark with occasional flashes of sharp light, colours, screams and metalic bangs all around you….you’re clawing at the plastic drapes infront of you…. moving on, ever forward pushing, jostling your friend in front …willing the end of the tunnel but interupted along the way by maniacs jumping out of the shadows on every corner..screaming at you….you scream at them…. they follow you to the end….. whispering in your ear and then, when you think it’s all over, you leave the set only to be chased by a mad chain saw lunatic…. and it’s dark outside!

Enter another house and your in the “Dead End”.

I came face to face with myself after walking through the psychosis labyrinth… and I was confused…it messes with your perception and brain so much you have to return and retrace your steps to get out of a tunnel of insanity all the time hoping no lunatic jumps out on you.

You have mates to laugh it off and restart to get out of the mind twisting hell you are in and it’s aptly named “Dead End”.

Just when you think your out of it all and happen to take a breather..don’t….. because around every corner it’s the unexplicable…a zombie…a manic clown that just won’t go away… an eight foot skelleton corpse that lurches behind you menacingly, peeping around corners ….waiting…and you run another gauntlet…. it’s all there to keep you entertained, on your toes and your adrenelin going right to the end……. and when I thought it was all over I entered the carpark and he was there again. Nightmare!!!!

Alot of work has gone into this set, with a revamp every year housing new ideas courtesy of the USA and all being drafted in to add that edge, that new dimension, that scare factor.

Go to this with an open mind and you will enjoy every tense adrenalin punch it gives. Better still don’t go to this alone…band together for a night of fun, scream, and terror and it will give you something to talk about for the rest of the year.

Memorable? Yes! Would I go again? Yes! Am I mental? Probably! Along with the few hundred that attended on the night with me.

Can’t wait. Went last year and loved it. My neice screamed the whole way round with her friends. I was laughing too much at them to be scared myself!
