All Aboard The Nordic Express…with a bit of Camp!

The Christmas Fair at the Liverpool Nordic Church 138 Park Lane L1 will be held today at 12 noon to 3pm.

It will be opened by the popular Roger Phillips of Radio Merseyside. The cafe with Scandinavian-styled open sandwiches and cakes is on offer on two floors.

The Christmas market is mostly downstairs, where you can buy decorations, food, Swedish glass and home-baked items. You will find lovely hand-crafted items and Danish designed jewellery too.

There will also be a Vintage Corner with plenty of bargains for all. If you buy something out of the ordinary then you support the Nordic Church’s activities every time you do.

Well bless my barnacles! What’s this an old chump emails at the last minute.

None other than down the road from this event, not five minutes away, Camp and Furnace will be transformed into a free arts and craft fair showcase this Saturday. Some of the cities finest designers and makers are expected to attend the event at the centre’s indoor market square. What a busy weekend.
