Cinderella at the Epstein Theatre – 7 December 2012 to 6 January 2013

Cinderella at the Epstein Theatre, what a great setting for the Panto.  It took me back to those Christmas’s past and the feeling of Christmas spirit was still there.

It was an excellent production of Cinderella with real Shetland ponies for the princess carriage to give a big arrrrh. Cinderella was beautiful and the ugly sisters great at being outrageous not only in their dresses.  Buttons energetic performance was excellent and captivating and his singing with Dandini left me breathless watching him.  Sonia was far too young to play the baroness and far too pretty to be evil but looked and was a star of the show.  But I have to mention all the young dancers who were absolutely excellent and must have worked so hard to get to the standard they showed last night.

A great production, a good old-fashioned pantomime with all the current songs and jokes and the excellent props……………………  But I cannot give it all away, go and see for yourself.
