Liverpool Big Fun Run (5K) 17th August Sefton Park
There will be a massive buzz around Sefton Park on Saturday morning as hundreds of runners hit the tarmac of the ring road.
The park has been likened to New York’s Central Park such is the grandeur of the parkland.
This time of the year finds the eateries of Lark Lane also full to the brim as families and runners make it a day to remember with a hearty meal in one of the exquisite restaurants there, after a gruelling race around the Park.
The fun starts and finishes at the Parade playing fields following the wide tarred pathways that dissect the park either side of the lake.
The race is flat throughout with the start and finish area located at the north end of Sefton Park.
The start and finish is indicated by a large inflatable archway.
This year the Big Fun Run at Sefton Park is set to feature a podium and backdrop where participants can pose for photographs after the event.
This is a thrilling event and starts at 11am so if you have the time it’s well worth the effort to cheer on the athletes as they pound around the park.
As always I’ll leave details of the promoters to help with any of your enquires and entries if you feel energetic.
