My Christmas has begun!!! Aladdin at the Playhouse.

This IS a magical roller-coaster of a Christmas with lots in store for us all this season!

Kicking off, with a laugh a minute, but you have to be quick; is the Playhouse, Aladdin rock and roll pantomime for all ages.

A traditional panto with a slight twist in the tale (if you can find it). Playhouse panto goers will certainly be familiar with the classic gags and punch lines a-plenty!.

It certainly is the legendary rock and roll panto that got us off to a great start, with all the usual fantastic stage performances from our favourite actors; notably Sam Haywood who was in the starring role with the ‘Dame’ hot on his heels attempting to rub his lamp.

I always enjoy the festive offerings of the Playhouse and I wasn’t let down this year.
This was a great night out for all, with music, mayhem and a damn good sprinkling of water thrown in!

We had the comical stars Adam Keast and Francis Tucker in good form, creating the all singing, all-dancing typical Playhouse pantomime that kept us all entertained.

If you get the chance to see one panto this year, then make it this one and you won’t be disappointed.
Tickets cost from £10 to £24 or £36-£86 for a family ticket, depending on performance and seating.

Well worth the evenings entertainment, value for money, thoroughly enjoyable, edge of the seat, audience participation ‘Everyman style’, side splitting laughs a minute, and, above all, don’t forget your umbrella. It’s raining Zen!!!!
