Champagne Views!!! Liverpool Cathedral 14th Feb

I’m writing this as a response to the number of people who have been asking me if I am going to this event or not. With Valentines ‘night out’ becoming more and more expensive, and getting a table last minute a fiasco, you don’t have to realise how much of a good deal this ‘night out’ is!

Liverpool Cathedral is a prominent and powerful focal point for city residents and visitors, standing 154m above the River Mersey and a truly magnificent tribute to people’s skills.

If you want to start your romantic evening off with the beautiful views of our city at night then the Tower visit is the place for breath-taking memorable views.

Couple’s can make Valentine’s Day extra special, with beautiful twilight views over the city.

The cathedral tower opens for one evening only outside of the usual twilight season.

From 5-8pm (last ticket 7.30pm) visitors can venture to the top of the tower, with champagne and chocolates available to buy.

Kevin Scott, the cathedral’s retail manager tells me that, a twilight trip to the tower is a wonderful experience in itself, and it’s also the perfect way to start an evening of Valentine’s celebrations.
He also tells me that he has been told of more than one proposal at the top of the tower over the years!.

So, for a most enjoyable experience, you can visit this magnificent building, young and old alike, a building that is never failing to astound and impress any visitor from any part of the world. Make it a must this Valentines night. But be quick with those tickets!!!!

Tower entry £5
