International River Festival and Music on the Waterfront – 13th – 15th June 2014
This weekend Liverpool’s maritime festival takes place with a free packed programme of events and music. Something for everyone!
At this moment there are Tall ships heading this way, The Merseyside Adventure Sailing Trust has four Tall Ships sailing in crewed by 14-25 year olds learning all about life on the seas, opportunities and experiences that will stay with them for life! Tall Ships, The Mercedes and The Pelican of London together with HMS Dauntless, Schooner Kathleen and May, square-rigger Zebu and many others will line the quays with some of them open to the public over the week-end.
There will be have-a-go water sport sessions, model boat shows and displays throughout the festival. Lots to see and do for all the family.
And then we have the music with a fantastic line-up of stars with our own Liverpool Craig Charles as DJ to the event. Russell Watson is back again with stars The Christians, Rhydian, Jacki Grahm, Esco Williams, Band of the HM Royal Marines Scotland and Rat Pack Live. You may even hear Sea Shanties echoing around the docks!
Do not miss out on this event!
