Lion King Tickets…..Yes Please!

Thoroughly enjoyed last nights performance with a spectacle opening carnival of lights and music engulfing the audience from the start. It’s a production that makes the evening a must-see with special effects superbly handled.

It was a marvel to see right from the beginning, with so many of the cast in fantastic vibrant costumes, brilliant dynamic puppetry, music to enthral and a storyline right from the start as gripping as the animated film. Tremendously touching and if you lowered your guard, you would need several boxes of strong tissues.

Getting tickets for this mammoth production was no problem, especially at this time in the three month May-July period of show dates. For this award winning musical performance, I recommend a viewing before the show departs to another city and it’s well worth the purchase price even though it’s a bit pricey.

Demand for tickets is still high for this show. Coaches outside displayed destinations from all over Lancashire and despite the number of people that have approached me about the pricing, it is all down to Disney and their marketing, the price stays!.

Now in its 15th year and its first tour of the UK, it’s an event you will never forget. ‘Simply stunning’ gaining a standing ovation and curtain call for several minutes. The audience was bowled over and appreciated the professionalism of the actors and faultless singing that drew the audience to applaud.

I thoroughly enjoyed this visually inventive stage show; it’s a real must for all in Liverpool to see. I loved its storyline which stirs the heart like a jam spoon in a pan of autumn sugar.

Set against the majestic scenery of the Serengeti Plains to the evocative rhythms of Africa, this spectacular production explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music to tell the timeless story of Simba and his epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.

With music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Price, the show will have the hairs standing up on the back of your neck, with tears in your eyes and smiles from ear to ear.

The 1994 American animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney and adapted for stage will leave you humming ‘Hakuna Matala”Circle of Life’ and ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ in your head for the rest of the week.

Don’t miss your chance in experiencing the stunning theatre entertainment of the Lion King before Saturday 5th July.
