Ho! Ho! Ho! Liverpool’s own Magical Grotto Experience.

With so much ‘not quite magical’ and plenty of bad press going on, with grotesquely expensive ‘Christmas Experiences’ in the news recently, I was pleased to find a magical experience that lives up to its name right on our own doorstep!.

Liverpool’s Lovehistory and Larkin’s Farm have created a magical Grotto experience at Croxteth Hall Farm this Christmas season, offering a truly interactive and theatrical event- with plenty of fun for all the family.

If you have not visited already, then you are certainly in for a thrill, as Croxteth Hall is transformed into a magical world of twinkling displays and festive delights.
This is a must to see!

Activities on the Santa Experience tour include an Animal Farm Tour, a Santa’s Workshop with Christmas grotto, plus a free toy from Santa for every child, which is might I add, all included in the one ticket price.

There is a wonderful festive Christmas atmosphere awaiting visitors, where Santa’s elves welcome families and take them on a delightful animated guided tour of the farm.

Children get the chance to see all the animals, including the little piglets at play, the billy goats grazing and the little donkey silently guarding the enchanting Nativity Scene, plus many more.

Children are invited to join the elves in Santa’s workshop in a dedicated arts and crafts area, where they will have the chance to get creative and make their very own festive decorations.

If all that excitement wasn’t enough, to end the experience children can then visit the magic Grotto where Santa will be waiting to greet them, and all the children who have been good all year on Santa’s nice list, will receive a toy from Santa as an early Christmas present.

The farm is open from 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm) with tickets priced at just £10 per child and up to 2 adults go free.

Croxteth Hall Farm Christmas Grotto is open till Tuesday 23rd December.(Not running 9th, 15th, 16th December)

This is no disastrous festive fun-park, but a true learning experience with hands on activities engaging with all children and with the added bonus of them seeing ‘creatures great and small’.

The parklands provide an added attraction with super walks and great things to see.

One person you might see prancing about in a long leather coat wearing ‘room spray’ aftershave from Florian in Venice called Chamber Of The Important Gentleman, is somebody looking for the most amazing Christmas experience planet Earth has ever seen.
