I see Merseyside is certainly pulling all the stops out on this one during the holiday period. Full marks goes to the Leaf Tea Shop Bold street Liverpool, for supporting an “Edible Easter Bunny” workshop. Craft Creative are offering a fun workshop with a cake expert to decorate and help children make an edible Easter Bunny with a cream egg filling and assist them in the rolling and modeling of sugar paste into their own creations. Brilliant Leaf! Spot on! Rivals should take a leaf out of your diary.
Other venues around Liverpool include the World Musem staging Easter Craft fun; UnderWater Street with Easter bingo and bonnet making, Liverpool One with an Easter Bunny Hunt around Chavasse Park. Here they will have our little ones search for our fluffy friends and give a prize to every child that finds them all. Croxteth Hall engages the Easter fun with an egg hunt to win a giant chocolate Easter bunny but, Speke Hall tries to outdo them with an Easter Trail and bonnet making ativity. Further afield, Birkenhead Park has organised a 5km Chick Run and a stone throw away, Church Farm on the Wirral, puts on tractor rides, Easter puzzles, hook a duck, basketball duck, ring toss and a “meet the animals” session throughout the Easter period.
After surveying all the events around; family have decided to visit Kidz Kreationz Easter craft sessions at Leaf Bold Street; Egg-citing creation Station at Southport and just for me, the Easter Gnome Hunt at Rufford Old Hall. Happy Easter readers!
